Xavier Dolan is the guy who make movies so real that he don't need a smokescreen in the form of three-dimensional fireworks. I don't watch many movies online from Drama genre, but this one was amazing. These days, new movies coming to the cinema, do not have 'something' hidden in this film. I'm the biggest fan in the world of movies like this. I think that it is authentic, although not as strong as in the films I mentioned in the introduction. After 12 years of absence, Louis (Gaspard Ulliel), a writer, goes back to his hometown, planning on announcing his upcoming death to his family. As resentment soon rewrites the course of the afternoon, fits and feuds unfold, fuelled by loneliness and doubt, while all attempts of empathy are sabotaged by people's incapacity to listen and love.
